[Balenciaga Bag, Sass&Bide black rats, vintage top.]

London Fashion Week was as glamorous as ever this year. My great friend Rob and I, after one failed attempt on the Sunday, made it into Somerset House for the day on Monday. Because the whole week is basically for buyers, press and celebrities only, we sat at the outdoor cafe, shared a mezze plate, drank champagne and spent the whole day checking everyone out. We made some friends along the way, including a glam Malaysian couple with a killer bright orange Hermes Birkin Bag and a slight obsession with my face. :)
We loved it, especially the man dressed head to toe in fluro pink, needless to say, we all felt under dressed whilst he was around.

underground fiesta

Saturday we said goodbye to some travelling friends.. Cider at the Punch&Judy in Covent Garden and then a late lunch at Wahaca. If you haven't been here yet you are SERIOUSLY missing out! I love these passionfruit cocktails, and the slow cooked pork is crazy good. We just bought the cookbook so we could re create these amazing flavours at home. Best Mexican street food this side of Mexico City. Get there!

Big Kid

We've been spending a lot of time with Bens nephew lately and he devours these fruit purees.. I then saw a lady on the tube yesterday enjoying one, so when I went grocery shopping hungry (which is never a good idea) I bought some for myself! I have to say that the green one is definitely my favourite and they make up 1 of your 5 recommended fruits a day! Not so sure that I'm their target market, but hey, tastes good! :)

when the sun goes down

I haven't been back to Hong Kong in a while and I'm starting to miss the place! The markets don't really come alive until the sun goes down that's when you can grab the best bargains. There is the most amazing dumpling place just off Temple Street in Kowloon that does steamed kim chi dumplings that will rock your world. :)

Siesta - San Sebastian

I've been missing the sunshine! San Sebastian really came through for us in this department :) We picked up some friends at the station who had just trained it all the way from Barcelona and managed to get a table at one of the only open pintxos bars in the city centre.. everything else was shut for siesta. If you haven't had pintxos yet then you HAVE to hunt one down! The beach was packed full of bronzed bodies, we managed to soak up some Vitamin D (with sunscreen protection, of course) before jumping back in the car and heading back to the villa in France.
