Brugge

We caught the train from Amsterdam to Brussels and then decided to a day trip to Brugge.
It is so cute! We drank local beers and sat by the river to watch the sun go down. Brugge was full of christmas spirit, everyone was so happy and the vibe in the christmas markets was really amazing.
A trip wouldn't be complete without trying some mussels! We found one of the oldest restaurants in the town to sit and share a bowl of the local delicacy.

We spent hours just wandering around, making the most of the day. We caught the train back after dark, and watched the christmas lights disappear as we sped back towards Brussels.

Next stop.. London then Marrakech.

Amsterdam

I could have happily spent my whole holiday here. We got lost more time than I can remember and almost killed by bike riders but thats half the fun!
I had the best pancakes and coffee at a little cafe we stumbled across one morning before heading to Anne Franks house -  which was so amazing.

It rained non stop the next day, not that it bothered us much. The 9 streets were the perfect place to pass the rainy hours, darting from one boutique to the next. I picked up a beautiful leather tote bag among other bits and pieces. I cant wait to visit again in the summer and ride bikes around city.

Next stop... Brussels.
